  • As result of experienced trainers, PATH is able to tailor its courses to suit different operations and requirements.

Brent
Employment title
Brent has 9 years experience including 3 years on-trade experience in Dubai. One of only 3 Beer Sommeliers in the Middle East, he is accredited to teach the full range of Beer Academy courses. With a BA in Hotel Management & Hospitality and local experience, he has a complete grasp of hotel operations when it comes to beverage service in this region.
Jason
Employment title
Jason our luxury trainer is a globally recognized name in cocktails with 15 years experience. Competing in the global finals of Diageos’ World Class he was ranked 3rd and 6th on consecutive years. In the past 6 years he has finished in the top 3 in no less than 12 global competitions, winning at a global levels at the Bols, IBA and Appleton competitions.
Chris
Employment title
Chris has 10 years experience in the industry and has both extensive retail and on-trade hands on knowledge. Working throughout the world including across Asia, he has also managed one of Scotland’s leading specialist whisky retailers.
Matt
Employment title
10 years experience in the wine industry with 4 of those years in the Dubai market, Matthew holds a Masters Degree in Wine Business from the University of Adelaide and holds a WSET Level 3 certificate in wine. Matthew is also a certified sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Viktoryia
Employment title
Viktoryia is leading Sake Category Sales and Development in the region. She has over 10 years of experience and has received numerous Sake qualifications both in Japan and UK. She is one of very few WSET Level 3 in Sake educators worldwide.
Richard
Employment title
Richard is the Head of Training with 17 years experience in the trade including 4 years leading training in the Gulf. He understands both global and local trends. Trained in 5* cocktails at the Ritz in London, he went on to own boutique cocktail bars in central London. Afterwards, he returned to school to train as a winemaker. Accredited to teach the full spectrum of WSET, IBD and practical courses.
Ratheesh
Employment title
With 2 years experience in beverages, focuses on high volumes venues with a focus on shots and simple serves. Supporting customers on event nights is a key part of his role.

As part of African + Eastern’s commitment to our customers we have invested ahead and now enjoy one of the best beverage training facilities in the world.
LECTURE FACILITIES
Our state-of-the-art lecture facilities are where we deliver WSET, IBD and our internally-developed theory courses. With a capacity of 40 to seat, learn and taste, it is designed to be the perfect environment for study. The room not only boasts the latest in presentation facilities but is armed with top end video equipment allowing us to support customers in producing in-house video SOP manuals around every level of service.

TRAINING FACILITIES
A dedicated beverage training solution that hosts 17 fully equipped cocktail bar stations, allowing entire bar teams to be trained on cocktails not just by watching but by actually doing.
Working in conjunction with Muddle Me, we are equipped with Blast Freezers, Rotary Evaporators, PACO Jet, Sous Vide, Blenders, Juicers, Dehydrators.
The training room contains over 200 SKUs of glassware, allowing for cocktail creation to take place on-site at all levels of the process rather than simply browsing through a catalogue.
BOH
Our BOH includes Kold Drafts’ top-of-the-range ice machine, Polyscience vacuum, PrO-Xtract centrifuge and a full photographic studio. This allows any cocktail creations to be photographed on site.
